Growing With Vincent High School

Students at Vincent High School, in the Milwaukee Public School system, show off their new Fork Farms growing machine to Thoreau Middle School students.

Vincent High School's Growing Machine

Students at Vincent High School introduce visiting middle school students from Thoreau to our Growing Machine. The Growing Machine is a hydroponic vertical growing system that we created in partnership with Fork Farms and Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. Students from Thoreau and other middle schools visited Vincent for our Agriculture Showcase!

Learning in Action

Seeing students engage with our technology is what makes us at Fork do what we do.  Here, a student at Vincent High School Agriculture program explains to Principal Daryl Burns how the growing machine works.

This is why I do it! We had a visitor today and my students went to work. This was not planned or staged, they were in there working in there food science class and he asked them to explain the grow machine. When we engage students they pick up the mantle and do it!Vincent HS of AG!
